Patrick G. LePore
Executive Chairman, Par Pharmaceutical Companies, Inc.

Mr. LePore became Executive Chairman of Par upon the completion of the Company’s acquisition by TPG. Prior to the acquisition, Mr. LePore had been Chairman of the Board since August 2007 and has served as Chief Executive Officer and President since September 2006 and a Director since May 2006. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. LePore was President of the healthcare marketing group at Cardinal Health, Inc. From 1984 until 2002, he was with BLP Group Companies, ultimately as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. BLP Group Companies was sold to Cardinal Health in 2002.

Joseph E. Smith
Lead Director, Corporate Executive Vice President, Warner-Lambert Company, Retired

In August 2007, Mr. Smith was named Lead Director of the Board. For more than the past five years, he has been a retired executive. Since September 2000, Mr. Smith has been a Director of WebMD Health Corp. (formerly Emdeon Corporation). He serves on the board of trustees of the International Longevity Center, a non-profit organization.

Peter S. Knight
President, Generation Investment Management – US

Since August 2004, Mr. Knight has been President of Generation Investment Management US LLP, a London-based investment firm. From January 2004 to August 2004, and from January 2000 to October 2001, he was President of Sage Venture Partners, an investment firm. From November 2001 to December 2003, Mr. Knight was a Managing Director of MetWest Financial, a Los Angeles-based asset management holding company. He is a Director of Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation and EntreMed, Inc.

Ronald M. Nordmann
Co-President, Global Health Associates, LLC

Since October 2000, Mr. Nordmann has been Co-president of Global Health Associates, LLC, a provider of consulting services to the pharmaceutical and financial services industries. From January 2000 to October 2000, he was a private investor. Mr. Nordmann is a Trustee of The Johns Hopkins University.

Thomas P. Rice, CPA
Principal and Co-founder, Columbia Investment LLC

Since 2007, Mr. Rice has been a Principal of Columbia Investments LLC, a company he co-founded and that invests in local businesses in Maryland. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Andrx Corporation from February 2004 to November 2006, when Andrx was sold to Watson Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Rice was also a Director of Andrx from April 2003 until November 2006. He is currently a Director of Chemed Corporation, the owner of two wholly-owned subsidiaries: VITAS Healthcare Corporation and Roto-Rooter.

Melvin Sharoky, MD
President and Chief Executive Officer, Somerset Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Retired

From January 2002 to March 2007, Dr. Sharoky was President and Chief Executive Officer of Somerset Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a research and development pharmaceutical company that markets Eldepryl® for the treatment of patients with late-stage Parkinson’s Disease and Emsam® for major depressive disorder. He also served as President of Somerset from July 1995 to June 2001 and has been a consultant to Somerset since his retirement from that company in March 2007. Dr. Sharoky also serves on the board of directors of Insmed Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company.

Patrick J. Zenner
Chief Executive Officer, Hoffman-LaRoche Inc., Retired

Mr. Zenner retired in January 2001 from Hoffmann-La Roche Inc., North America, where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer since 1993. Mr. Zenner held various executive positions during his 32-year career with Hoffmann-LaRoche. Currently, Mr. Zenner is Chairman of the Board of ArQule, Inc. and Exact Sciences Corporation and a director of West Pharmaceutical Services. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Creighton University and is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Fairleigh Dickinson University.
